Preschool Ages 2 – 4  with Denise Boyles

In our Preschool Classes we us DiscipleLand’s Preschool material.  DiscipleLand Preschool consists of two series. The Old Testament sequence introduces preschool kids to God's greatness and plan. The New Testament sequence guides them to become Jesus' friends.   Each sequence will give children building blocks to become lifelong disciples.

This Year we are using DiscipleLand’s New Testament Sequence   “Discover Jesus” Quarters E - H

For a total of eight quarters, your children ages 2-5 will befriend Jesus—they'll experience His teachings, His love, and His forgiveness. Eight quarters will give your kids almost 100 Bible stories and an overview of the New Testament.

Every quarter includes 12 Bible lessons (plus one review lesson). The New Testament Series uses sequential Bible stories to teach about Jesus' life, message, and purpose.

The Summer Quarter is:

Quarter E – “Jesus Triumphs For Us”

Jesus' friends see Him go to heaven and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. Children will share with others the Good News that Jesus will return!

Bible content: Luke 20—24

The Fall Quarter will be:

Quarter F - "Jesus Lives In Us"

Children will discover Jesus' love for people everywhere and travel with early missionaries who tell others about Jesus. Preschoolers will learn that God turns their problems into victories!

Bible content: Acts 1—12

The Winter Quarter will be:

Quarter G - "Jesus Sends Us"

Children will learn of Jesus' indwelling power and trust God to lovingly work out His great plan. They will confidently obey God, knowing that He is always with them.

The Spring Quarter of 2012 will be:

Quarter H - "Jesus Empowers Us" 

Children will learn of Jesus' indwelling power and trust God to lovingly work out His great plan. They will confidently obey God, knowing that He is always with them.

.Kindergarten with Amy Mascunana

This year Kindergarteners are using DiscipleLand’s (discipleland.com) Kindergarten Material – “Amazing Heroes”.  In DiscipleLand Kindergarten, your children will explore the wonder-filled dramas of fascinating Old and New Testament personalities-- embracing 48 godly heroes and heroines they can respect and emulate. Along the way, they will discover that Jesus is the special Hero who fulfilled God's plan to rescue people and save the world.

The Bible Text: Matthew - John

Kids will welcome Jesus, the Hero and King! Your children will discover the faith of 19 New Testament personalities who responded to the presence of Jesus in their lives. They will see the living Christ through the eyes of the people in the Gospels. They will understand why Jesus is the Hero who God sent to save us all.

First Graders Class with Patrice Russell

This class of First Graders will be using DiscipleLand's "Discovering God's Greatness"

This year, children age 6 will acknowledge God—as Lord of heaven and earth. Kids will experience God's view of family, work, worship, and community. They will Join a Bible-times family and discover what living in God's world was like 2000 years ago!

Summer Quarter A:  "Family Life with God"

Children will encounter 12 truths about the God who loves and cares for families. Kids will wear Bible-times clothes, eat ancient food, attend a synagogue school, and learn how faith in the Lord and daily activities together united Bible-times families.

Fall Quarter B:  "At Work With God"

Children will discover 12 truths about the God who values hard work. They will observe Bible-times people who used their skills to serve the Lord and other people. Kids will learn good work habits and attitudes as they plant tender seeds, mold soft clay, and practice many Bible-times occupations.

Winter Quarter C:  "At Worship With God"

Children will learn 12 truths about the magnificent God they worship. They will come to know, love, and serve God as they join Bible-times feasts, festivals, and worship practices. Kids will discover how faith in God drew Bible families together and influenced daily living.

Spring 2012 Quarter D:  "Village Life With God"

Children will grasp 12 truths about the God who cares for all people. They will become a close-knit community-experiencing a Bible-times marketplace, travel, healthcare, and wedding! Kids' hearts, minds, and spirits will be united in fellowship with the Lord and with each other.

Second Grade thru 5th Grade with Rocky DeRoche

"Children's Apologetics 101"

Starting with the new academic year 2011-12,  your children from 2nd grade up to 5th grade will be together and participating in an exciting new class called, “Children’s Apologetics 101”, a class that helps children answer questions about their faith, giving them the abiltiy to have an answer in defense of their faith in Christ and the Bible.

The first phase of this class will be 30 lessons using the AnswersInGenesis.com material, “Answers For Kids, Bible Curriculum”.  This is a children’s apologetics program for kids designed to greatly strengthen the biblical foundation/worldview of your children.  This dynamic course will give your children a solid understanding of biblical history and help them to boldly share and defend the truth of the gospel.

They will study topics such as:

o        What are the Seven C’s of history and what about Jesus!?

o        How do we know that God exists

o        Where did humans come from

o        How did we get the bible

o        Did God create in six days

o        How old is the earth

o        Are the dating methods accurate

o        Have animals evolved

o        What about dinosaurs

o        Why are snakes scary

o        Where did the races come from

o        Was there an ice age

o        Are there really aliens

Your children’s faith will be deepened and their questions answered.

The second phase of this year’s class will be about the Bible, God’s Word.  This DiscipleLand Adventure series will help your children discover how we got the bible and why.  They will learn about the Bible’s authority, it’s message, and it’s purpose.

The third phase of this year’s class will be about Christian Discipleship, 12 topics that are foundational.   DiscipleLand Adventure lessons will introduce the essential “how-to’s” of Christian faith.  They will learn about God, spiritual growth, the church, and the opportunity to fulfill God’s awesome plan for their lives
